Inflation is caused by Greed
For too long we have been told that the cost of living has been rising due to government spending or supply chain issues after covid.
The real reason is business shrinking products and increasing the price .
Here is an image of my favourite easter egg. I saw this in IGA at approx $9.00
I grabbed it and instantly noticed the long thin box.
How do you fit a round egg in a narrow box?.
Simple- make the egg an oblong and shrink it down.
To make matters worse, the box says Beanies inside. I assumed they would be the same smarties that I have enjoyed since a child.
So Wrong LOL
The image above shows the beanies. The traditional smarties are no longer inside.
I have got to say they are the same size as those tiny sugar tablets people take.
How can they justify selling this item at that price.
Personally I think there should of been a Tiny parts inside warning.
Cadbury responds (Bullshit meter warning)
Cadbury responds to Humpty Dumpty weight-loss claims
A spokesperson for Cadbury has refuted the claims, telling Yahoo News Australia that the Humpty Dumpty Milk Chocolate Egg is the same weight and consists of the same amount of chocolate as last year.
However the spokesperson revealed that Cadbury has changed the packaging to use less cardboard and a smaller plastic inner holder, both of which are recyclable ( They had to get sustainable in there )
This is only one example. All of them are doing this. Raising prices while reducing packaging costs.
Each quarters profit results will expose the truth.
