After being here for the last 3 weeks i decided it was time to visit the beach.
I called grab and headed off a few minutes later to Mae ram phueng beach.
It cost me 118 baht, however as it was my first trip i got out a bit early.
It appeared that the further you go the nicer the beach becomes.

I understand its the rainy season, it was early and an overcast day.
However it was completely dead.
Apart from a dog i was the only person on the beach.
I walked on a bit further and came across a 7/11 across the road.
Grabbed some water and also noticed they have an ATM outside that appears to take all cards.

I walked further down the road and there are many places for people to sit and eat along the beach.
Sadly all were closed.

I have poor circulation in my legs and i found that its important to look for a good place to get down to the beach from the road.
The following picture was a bit bizarre.
I was unsure if it was saying invalid parking or weather it meant wheelchair access.

I certainly wouldn’t try go down here in a wheelchair.
Going down on foot was difficult enough as there are no handrails

All in all it was a good morning out.
There was a shop opposite the beach that has toilets for 5 baht
It was a welcome site after drinking all that water.

My return grab ride was only 140 baht with a tip.
