One full month at Caza V1

I paid my rent today, its been a full month.
This one was important as it was the first time i got an electric and water bill.
I already knew the rent was 8500 baht a month.
I had set a budget of 12500 baht a month
Looking at average electricity prices in the area gave me a figure to work with.
A small house will cost less than a serviced apartment.
The set electricity price in Thailand is 3.98 baht per kilowatt-hour
They charge 7.5 baht per KW here as you have to chip in for the lighting in the halls the elevator and everywhere else.
I budgeted 4000 baht a month and i came in under budget.
Electricity cost = 3752 baht
Water = 140 baht
Total cost per month was 12,252 baht.
You can work out in your own currency what that would cost.
There are many apartments for rent in Rayong.
Some are very cheap.
From what I have seen they are very small.
My place is 40 sq meters with a small kitchen area.
The WI-FI is free so that another saving.
If you live here permanently you have a housekeeper once a week
They don’t have a pool here, but I doubt I would use it if they did.
The beach isn’t far away.
