Passport back

Everyday it is hot here. Or as I like to say “tuk won rorn mak mak”
I got my passport back on Sunday with a 15 month visa.
Not having my passport has made me stay close by, as its just not worth the trouble if questioned.
Even though it is all legal, not carrying your passport can lead to a fine.
Not that anybody carries there passport around with them.
Next week I will of been at CAZA V1 a month. (sounds posh in my head)
I am learning lots of Thai from the front desk, the housekeepers and the couriers.

Getting my passport back meant a trip to the bank to get my app fixed.
A trip to the Siam Commercial Bank can be like being in an episode of Little Britain.
the last few inquiries have been met with “Computer Says NO”
Today , or as i like to say ONE NEE was different.
Armed with my passport “Computer Said Yes”
The reason I wanted the phone app fixed is due to Thailand being very advanced with digital banking.
In a foreign country not having to carry cash on you is a bonus.
Here you can just scan a bar code and pay for just about anything.
I have always lowered my expectations here when dealing with Government departments or banks that way I am rarely disappointed.
I had allowed myself 2 hours for the bank, but i was out in 30 minutes so today started well.
Like the Russian in my story below, I have just discovered this wonderful Blue block
Please continue reading below
This morning after breakfast i heard this russian voice
” can you help me”(but with a russian accent)
I looked around ( as I do, due to only one ear working)
and there was a guy with his arm in a sling and covered in bruises seated at the very low outdoor setting.
He had had a motorcycle accident the previous day and had sat down, and was unable to get up.
I helped him up and said that he should go to the Rayong Hospital nearby instead of traveling to Bangkok hospital 2 hours a way.
Off he hobbled.
He was very lucky the police didn’t attend his accident as he wasn’t wearing a helmet.
Not wearing a helmet here since June the 1st, can lead to DEATH or a 2000 baht fine.
