Daynes Navy cadet training

Dayne has joined the navy cadets in Queensland.
He hopes to continue this training until he is able to apply To the Royal Australian Navy.
Today his mum, Dad and Poppy got to watch his demonstration parade in preparation for the Anzac day march.
Today was also a special day as he recieved his new rank as Seaman Moody after the parade.

Dayne Joined late February 2025 at the rank of recruit which Dayne has now advanced to the rank of Seaman during a parade for the ANC’s TS Tyalgum / Gallipoli Flotilla.
This parade had guests and other cadets from the NSL, A Naval Association, and Agency.
The parade also had cadets and officers from TS Vampire and TS Walrus.
TS Walrus did help Dayne and the other cadets in preparation for this parade.
Dayne mentioned his routine he had to do before his big parade, this consisted of a wake up call during 05:00 including a 1 hour exercise session.
Then the cadets were split up for a procedure called “Sweeping Ship” / “Cleaning Ship” where cadets would clean various parts of the base.
Dayne, only getting two hours of sleep the previous night had just barley managed to do a half decent job whilst almost passing out.
Later on they were told to change into S3 Ceremonial Whites, this is the cadets parade & ceremonial uniform.
A statement from dayne: “The male heads (bathroom) was a little chaotic, as we were getting changed someone set up a speaker and started playing modern rap songs.”
Afterwards at around 09:45 we began our practice parade which they did two times over before the third and final parade.
This is the video of the actual parade. Once the drums started my feet were tapping.
Change to uniform
On complettion of the parade Dayne got his badges.
A very noticeable change to the uniform.
